Thanks for the lovely messages, guys!! Thanks for reading and popping by the last couple of months since this blog's been on-line (I know pianos aren't for everyone so it's been support above and beyond the call of duty!). I should have said yesterday more about Tracy's logo on my header - the only thing that's giving my scribblings any class! - she made the piano blog logo for me as a present. To celebrate this week's news what better way than visiting Victor Borge again - this time with his 'History of the Piano'. Really silly!

So you teach singing, I have always wanted to learn to do that but I am too afraid to sing in front of people. When I was in high school way back in the dark ages I got kicked out of music class and sent to study hall, saying I was incorrigible. Then in college I took choir for an easy a (all you had to do was show up) When I was singing the choir director made me stay after and took me into a room. He played several scales and made me follow his playing the piano, which I did. Then he told me I sung in minors a kept at me until I hit some high c or something and told me I had a 4 octave range (I don’t have a clue what that means). To this day I don’t know what singing in minor means but I figure it must be bad as opposed to major. I was so embarrassed I just hated going to class for the rest of the quarter, the only way I got through it was a slug of Jack Daniel’s those 3 days a week before class.

I have even written pagan songs but I dont know how to write it on a music score so its all in my head or on a tape under lock and key. Maybe after I die someone will hear it and write it out for others to share.

It's hard to cope with everything, right now; sometimes, it feels like it's not even real, and other times, I'm sure the pain will kill me... It's a roller-coaster, for sure, and I appreciate so much that you are sharing the ride with me...

Thanks, Hazel. The only reason I've been over on Blogstar is because it distracts me. My heart hurts so much from losing Shari that if I don't find a way to distract myself, it will overwhelm me to the point where I'll just go crazy...
